I finally received my service manual from the dealer. While it has more than I could ever want to know about engine, transmission, and carburator compnents, there is relatively little information pertaining to non-mechanical compnents (Perhaps the Clymer manual was the way to go). My throttle grip end cap seems to be somewhat loose, and I read an earlier post reccomending that it be glued on, else it fall off while going 65 mph. Before I just yank it off, I want to know how it is attached. Is it screwed on? Is it simply held on by tension? What have you guys used to secure it? Personally I've always been partial to "JB weld", but I was wondering if anyone else knows of something better to use.
Thanks...be safe.
